Opera By Appointment is run by international tenor John Graham-Hall and arts administrator Sarah Priday. Johnny, together with his wife Helen Williams, has pioneered a new way of presenting Opera.

Opera By Appointment is all about great singing, great acting, and above all great communication with the audience, whether you're a connoisseur or a newcomer to the wonderful world of Opera. Johnny has performed major roles at the festivals of Salzburg, Bregenz and Glyndebourne, as well as in New York, Paris, Naples (the world-famous Teatro San Carlo) and London (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and ENO at the Coliseum). Helen has performed at Covent Garden, Glyndebourne and ENO, as well as singing widely throughout Britain, Europe and America.

 In January 2009 Johnny's performance as Aschenbach in Deborah Warner's renowned production of Death in Venice at the Monnaie Theatre in Brussels was widely acclaimed as a personal triumph. With regular appearances in Amsterdam and with most of the British regional companies, visits to Rome, Toronto, Milan and many other venues, he is one of Britain's busiest international opera singers.
